Hi, I purchased a hour glass online from ebay.com on 31st August 2014. When I received it, the hour glass was in broken condition. Immediately I informed the ebay seller that I received a Broken Hour Glass & also posted a comment on ebay that I received a broken hour glass. But the supplier said that he will only replace the hour glass if I remove the negative feedback from site. I also tried to apply for my ebay guarantee but as site was under construction (told by ebay customer care executive) i was unable to claim the ebay guarantee within 7 days. As told by Ebay, I had also sent photos of broken hour glass & screenshot of mail sent to ebay but now they are denying to give a replacement. Now i have received a reply from ebay that, ‘Dear Mukund, We thank you for your precious time in helping us investigate the issue you faced with your purchase. We regret to inform you that after investigating the claim we are rejecting your eBay Guarantee* claim request. Please find the details here Action : Buyer Claim request rejected by eBay Remarks : We have checked all the details of your claim filed by you on eBay, On checking the details of your account and the claim filed by you for the item not as describe as per the listing we came to know that the product which you received is as per the description. As per our telephonic conversation 14/09/2014 We regret to inform you that the claim has been closed we would request you to get in touch with your seller for the same. Your understanding and co-operation is highly appreciated in this matter. Thank you. Regards,’ This behavior is illegal that the seller sent an broken item and Ebay is saying that they are not responsible for this. Please raise an complaint on Ebay India.
I want either replacement for that hour glass or ebay should return my money back.
