I am a Ph.D. scholar in Jawaharlal Nehru University. I have bought a laptop of HP-COMPAQ on 24th Sec. 2008. Before end of its first warranty year I got a call from RT Outsourcing Pvt. Ltd. to extend its warranty for two year by paying Rs. 6,300/-. I have paid the amout and submit the copy of the actual bill for upgradation process. Initilly they people don’t upgraded it from the date of purchase, it was upgraded from the date of manufacturing. I made so many conversation with them and resubmit copy of original bill so many time for upgradation. After so many call and mails to RT Outsourcing and HP in Sep. 2010 they have upgraded for one year only and said that we can’t upgarde it for two years. You can take Rs. 1300/- back. I have denied to take the money back. As I am a Research Student I didn’t get too much time. That’s why I wasn’t made any complaint till date. My laptop was in a bad condition from last 1 year and I am doing my work by takeing others laptop. As it is a private organization, people are chaning frequently. Now my Ph. D. in final stage, Please sir help me, so that I can complete my Ph. D. I only want my proper warranty upgradation so that my laptop can be repaired.
