Hyundai Car – no service by dealer engine was seized without oil

On December 2013 I and my husband purchased Hyundai Eon Ear + from Express Hyundai, Sholinganallur branch and we had gone for HDFC Bank loan recommended by them. During initial stages the sale representatives who dealt with me was very supportive and gave a satisfied service. After we took the delivery their response was poor and nobody dint even bother to give a satisfied service to us. From the time we bought the car we were not satisfied as there was some minor problem persisting. But we ignored as we thought this much be a minor fault. But as days pass by the performance of the car was deteriorating. We had 5 free service offered by Hyundai. We utilized 3 services of which none of the service was Upto the mark. Recently when we gave for service they charged us Rs.1,500/- for oil. But next day when we took the car for a drive we found there was no oil and the engine got seized in between. When we contacted the service center there was no proper response and later when we met the higher official from the branch he enquired and accepted that its their fault. This made us really worry that how can a reputed service center like Hyundai can give us a false bill. This attitude was really shocking. Again they took the car for service and gave back the next week. Still there was some problem with the car and we got really frustrated. When we again contacted the center head he apologized and he said he will send his I20 and take our car servicing which is really absurd. They are trying to hide their mistake by giving us a temporary replacement car. No individual will agree to have a car with so much repeated complaints which was just bought 6 months back. We have all the bills and proofs and we have all the rights to file a case against the company for this fraudulent service. We have overcome lot of mental agony because of this. Please note that our marriage is going to happen by June 1st week and for that reason we had left the car for service. But we never thought the performance of the car would get even worse. We would certainly require this issue to be addressed immediately and we are ready to go to any extent to sort out this issue. We doubt that the car delivered to us was a newly manufactured car or a demo car?

As we are getting repeated complaints very often we would like to have a replacement car of the same brand and we want that to be tested and given a certificate that it is a newly manufactured car. We would also want them to pay us the compensation of Rs.1,00,000/- for the mental agony which is created to us and especially during our marriage time. This is actually a sensitive and sentimental matter within our family as we have faced so much of obstacle. To narrate an instance when we took our car to temple to keep our first marriage invitation the car break down which created lot of chaos among our family and they felt that this is a sign of negative impact. I want the Express Hyundai to compensate us for all this problems created and I want this issue to be address immediately before our marriage as we require our car for many occasions.
