ICICI Bank – Non Isuance of TDS Certificate

ICICI Bank is not following the Guidelines. I am a privilege customer of ICICI. This is what I have faced and I do not know whether they are following all the guidelines. I opened the account in 2002 with my PAN Card and have submitted the photocopy of my Pan CARD also. ICICI bank never approached/informed for updation of my PAN Card in the last financial year by any means i.e. sms/e-mail/call/letter by post. Once I asked for my TDS certificate on 03rd July bank is giving different excuses and every now and then they are asking me to visit the branch. I visited the branch on 23 July also they updated the PAN whereas their e-mail states that my PAN was updated on 09 July itself. Three questions which are unanswered 1. What the bank did after deducting the TDS? 2. Why I was never communicated to update the PAN. 3. The process started once I requested for the TDS Certificate. 4. My first request was on 03 rd July and they informed me on after 16 July that my PAN is not updated that too after several reminders. 5. Why didn’t the bank check their own records for the PAN 6. Even after several following up with ICICI there is a difference of RS 225/- in TDS amount(The statement that I received through centralised team e-mail and the TDS amount that I received from my branch are different) 7. I am attaching few communications in below option

1. I want my TDS certificate to be issued or the amount to be credited back into my account 2. I want appropriate action against ICICI Bank for not following the norms or banking guidelines. 3. Suitable compensation for harassing me.
