ICICI Bank Sending Wrong Debit Card Alerts

India’s third Rate Quality Bank, ICICI Bank doesn’t even verify if the e-mail address really belongs to the customer or not and just enrolls it for alerts. Just a while ago, I received an alert as shown below,

Dear Customer,

Thank you for banking with ICICI Bank.

You have used your Debit Card linked to Account XXXXXXXX9321 for a Cash Withdrawal of INR 500.00 at an ATM on 21-02-2013 20:58:04. The Available Balance in your Account is Rs. 67.00.

If you have not made this transaction, please call our 24-hour Customer Care number mentioned on the reverse of your Debit Card. You may also visit www.icicibank.com for the Customer Care number.

EARN PAYBACK reward points on your purchases online or at merchant outlets. For further details on rewards, offers and benefits on your Debit Card, please visit www.icicibank.com/debitcard.

I was having Dinner when my Phone alrted the same and I had to quit dinner as I was shocked by the Balance remaining in the account. All thoughts came to my mind whether I was a victim of skimming Debit / Credit Card Fraud going on around in India, only to realize the account number is not mine and belongs to somebody else.

ICICI Bank, Please respond here and I will tell you which e-mail ID needs to be De-Linked from my account.
