All my bills have always been in the range of Rs.350/- to Rs.500/- only. But now my phone bill for the period 27-11-14 to 26-12-14 has suddenly reached Rs.1432.57/- as a result of incorrect charges by Idea Cellular in the name of GPRS services. Whereas, point to be noted is that I had cancelled my mobile internet services with Idea Cellular several months back. Also I had called Idea Customer Service in November and December 2014 to confirm my Plan and Idea Cellular had confirmed each time that I did not have any mobile internet services. Upon getting this bill I got in touch with the Customer Service at Idea Cellular and clarified my point, however, they refused to acknowledge my point and insisted that I have been charged for GPRS according to my usage. How is it possible that I can be charged for GPRS services when I haven’t used any GPRS or internet services through my phone? I have been using my phone only for basic phone calls. I don’t even go out of my house much so I do not need to use the internet or GPRS on my phone. I request you to kindly look into this matter and help me with a resolution with regards to this incorrect billing.
I request you to kindly get these unreasonable and unfair charges on my bill wavered and not let the company impose unfair charges on its customers.
