Dear Sir, I bought 2 idea sims for internet and applied one for porting from bsnl postpaid. In all the three matters, I am a victim of poor response and monetary loss. I will explain all three one by one 1. Idea sim no. 7359009856 This sim was bought on 19th Dec to be used in my open market dongle. the sim was bought for Rs. 200 with 1 gb 3g internet. the problem with this sim is that it was made only to work with idea branded dongle. It has restricted dongle usage. While I forwarded several complains no one helped it out said our sims are not restricted to be used only with idea dongles. The fact that the sim can be used only with idea branded dongles was verified by idea territory manager present at Kalol office. I did use few mbs by using it with borrowed idea dongle but most of my data was lapsed coz it didnt work with my dongle which other wise works excellently with all other telecom operators including idea. 2. Idea sim no. 9824866112 bought for Rs 200 with 1gb free 3g data on 2/1/14 While the above problem was not resolved I was asked to purchase a new sim. I bought this new sim from same idea kalol office. Now this sim worked excellently fine with my dongle. But the issue is after few days 3g services were stopped only 2g internet was available. One person advised me to top up with small 3g data plan so that 3g reactivates. on doing so my existing data balance disappeared. Again loss. On complaining I got reply due to top of additinal data, existing data balance has lapsed. While this is not fair practice take e.g. of fueling bike, does existing petrol disappears on topping it up?? the company is just fooling people. 3. MNP on 25 Dec, I applied for porting to idea for my bsnl postpad mobile no 9428818264, I gave 400 rs, 100 for idea mnp sim and 300 for deposit to representative. its more than one month there is no portability conversion yet. Kinldy solve the issue at the earliest. I will be highly obliged if you facilitate so. Thanks and Regards
Suppose in both sim I used about 100 Rs, than refund me atlest 300 and an additional 400 that I deposited while portability if portability is not going to effect.
