My name is Rohit Bohra. I used to have two idea connections 9650788xxx(Bill generation date 1st of month) and 9540501xxx((Bill generation date 15th of month). On 9/9/2013 I went to idea portlet at Sector 63 and requested to discontinue number 9540501xxx.They told me to pay the outstanding of Rs 385.I paid the amount on the spot and they told me that my number will be discontinued in 2-3 days. On 15/09/2013, The bill was generated for number 9540501xxx stating that I had to pay 185 more. I contacted customer care and they rudely said that I HAD to pay this amount. I complained twice for the same and after multiple follow-ups on 27-28 sep 13, I got confirmation that the issue is resolved and my number 954050xxx is discontinued. On 01/10/2013 my bill for number 9650788xxx generated and I saw that they had adjusted that 185 rs in my this bill. I again complained for the same and they told me to pay the rest of the amount and they will remove 185 rs from their end. But then On 01/11/2013 bill, the same amount of 185rs was added with additional 50rs late fee. I complained again but even after multiple follow-ups and several complains They didnt corrected my bill. every time I called them or went to their Idea portlet, they behaved very rudely and they said that the bill is correct and I had to pay this bill. After that they stopped my outgoing and within one week my number was discontinued. I called them and they said that they have discontinued the services for my number and will reactivate them only after I will pay the bill.I went very frustrated after that time with a very inferior feeling so I argued and refused. since then they continuously harassed me on mail or on call. I am not sure how but somehow from my friends they got my new number and asked them to force me to pay the bill, But I refused to pay until the bill is corrected. addition of late fee to my bill amount was still on. On 11/1/2014 I got a mail(final demand letter) from them to pay the bill or they will take legal action against me. I requested to correct the amount and I have no issues paying the same. Then I got no responce from them. On 25/1/2014 I got a call from Patiyala house court By some Lady Sunita(+91-9716030xxx) that Idea has filed a case against me and the case file no. is 91/13. She asked me to talk to Lawyer R.K.Sharma(+91-9213594xxx) for details. My Sharma told me that Idea is going to take legal action against me and they had filed a case of Rs 15000/- against me and I had to come to Tis Hajari court on Monday. He suggested that if I will pay the correct bill amount and send the paid bill screenshot to mail id ‘chuhanaditya9213@gmail.com’, no action will be taken. I am a law abiding person and I got scared so the same day I payed the amount. But now coming to think of it I am feeling that I got cheated. They mentally harrased me for 5 months and then they forced me showing the fear of legal action and then I had to pay the bill. What I go
I want a complete compensation for all what I had gone through for last 5 months. Idea’s so called illustrate and unprofessional customer care associates has continuously bugged me continuously by different means, for the last 5 months. I want a compensation amount of rs 30,000 for all I had gone through.
