I was using the Idea number for 4-5 years and it all started when I tried to activate Internet and ISD package on my number in Feb’13. I deposited 1000 towards the security for activating ISD, however it could not be activated for 5-6 days and I have to visit the IDEA care thrice for such a small request. And when even after waiting for 6-7 days, ISD was not activated and due to unprofessional behavior of staff both at the IDEA care and customer care, I decided to port it to Airtel. Well, I ported my number from IDEA to Airtel in the month of Feb’13. There is a security deposit,etc of INR 1300.00 (approx) for which, I still haven’t received the refund. I have regularly written to them starting 1st May 2013 and since then contacted their customer care, written emails, visited Idea care showrooms, but I was always told that it will take another 4-5 days to send you the draft which never happened despite regular follow ups for the past 2.5 months. All they say is that we tried contacting you, whereas i never recd any call from them. I can provide my detailed email over the same if required. Please help me resolve this issue.
It is really frustrating and have consumed lot of my valuable time and effort for this simple task. The way the customer care representative make false statements and promises is irritating and created mental stress for me.
I want my security refund back with INR 10000.00 as compensation.
