We bought an IFB Eva Aqua VX 5.7 Front loading washing machine on October 1st 2014. We had it delivered from the showroom to our house on the same, the guys from IFB called up and said they’ll come by on next Monday (Due to local holidays on our place was the reason they gave). Monday evening the Demo guy came done the installation and gave us some basic instruction on how to use the product, and he left. And the very next day we try to wash our cloths, the stopped and gave us beeps we checked the manual for troubleshooting but based on the error we received it was not mentioned in troubleshoot page. So we called up the local service center, they said they’ll send a technician guy tomorrow. A technician came the next day he checked and said there was a clog in the detergent tray and thats why its giving error, (But I knew that’s a total crap what he said cause we never used powder and we only used liquid and even the error came after the water was filled).
The very next day same complaint persisted and we called again, they again sent another technician and they never kept any log maintaince for what problem each customer is facing, because when the second technician came he had I told him its same problem and he had no idea what’s the problem, so I had to repeat the whole thing, this he said it was the circuit board which is damaged and it’ll be replaced by tomorrow he said, the next they never showed I called them, they said they’ll come but never showed up. So i called the IFB toll free number 1860-425-5678 and registered a compliant and no response it been one full month and the problem hasn’t been solved by them. I’ve made several complaints through IFB website as well as the toll free number provided but no proper response. so my suggestion for customer out there looking for a washing machine go for other brands like Bosch, Siemens.
