IHO.2013-8/13292 ————————————————————————————————————————- Details of Complaints: I got call from IHO excutives and he started to explain me the benefits of healthcare plan of IHO. He said” IHO provides 50% concession on any treatement and hospitalised benefits and visiting the any local doctors in our area. I interupted him and said” If I hospitalised for 20 days and doctor billed me Rs.100000 for the treatment, and If I will show this card to the doctor, so can he reduce my 50% which means 50000 from the bill. He said” Yes sir, you are absolutely true. I asked him for the written proof for the same. He told me that all written information mentioned in the welcome kit which would be dispathed after 3-4 days. If you will not interested in, then you can return it within 15 days. you will get your all your money back within 5-7 days. After one week when I received the welcome kit,( received on 28th August 2013) I shocked and Immediately called ( on 31st August 2013) IHO customer care and request them to cancel the membership. Because the information shared by IHO excutives and information mentioned in the welcome kit are very different. IHO proviedes only 50% concession on consultation only and for further treatment they are providing only 15-20 % which is very low and such kind of concession are providing by other doctors without taking any policy. After cancellation everday I was calling for my status, but IHO excutives didnt reply me. They replied my query on direct 24th September 2013. Which was 23 days delay. When I tried this card at local doctor at my location, Doctor refused to give such concession to me. Then I tried for cashless voucher and coupons provided by IHO. My daughter was sick and doctor asked for xray and blood report. When I called IHO for xray report, Excutives said that it takes 2 days prior appointment. HOW PEOPLE CAN PLAN FOR PRIOR DESEASE???? I know that this is their working system. But If you are not using it in emergency situation when you actually requred it then what is use of that all things??. IHO excut
