I booked a cylinder on January 02, 2014. The connection is in wife’s name, Ms. Mrudula Akki. I had paid Rs. 1,096 when we received it last time. However, this time, the billing was for 1,327.00. I was told by the delivery people that the prices have increased with effect from January 01, 2014. According to my information, the price has been increased by Rs. 220.00 for non-subsidised cylinders, which, to my understanding is that if we go over 9 cylinders in a year, the 10th one will be billed extra. Please help me out on this one. I have the new bill as I needed the cylinder, however, I want to know if the suppliers are right in charging us.

We are charged Rs. 220 more per cylinder as the gas agency people are charging us more on the first cylinder itself. It was very inconvenient for me as I had only the said amount and to a fact that I had to borrow money from my neighbor to get my cylinder
