My husband Sri. Ramachandran is holding a valid Indane LPG Connection with M/s Sathyam Indane Services, Ottappalam, Palakkad as detailed below. As he is out of State; to incorporate with the Aadhar Card, I have submitted an application for the Name Transfer from my husband’s name to myself with all relevant documents to M/s Sathyam Indane Services Ottappalam, palakkad Dt on 11th October 2013 including the Affidavit signed by an Notary public on stamp paper and original invoice. Upon submission of the application the counter staff of Sathyam Indane Agency told me to come after one week to get it effected. After which I had gone to the agency twice, representative thrice and several telephone calls during the last one and half month till date the name change is not affected. As per the Citizen Charter Published by the Indian Oil corporation, the time required for the name change is only ONE DAY. But even after a lapse of one and half months the agency has not done the name change without any reason. Mr. Pradeep Kumar who is the dealer (after several calls already made on this) told me that the difficulty for the reason for name change is that they have lot of works pending and will be done whenever they get a free time. When contacted today, the agency told me to come after January 2014). They are not going to effect the name change in near future as they are more interested in giving ‘new connection’ with forced sale of accessories. (which is against the rules). Meanwhile, I also contacted several time to Sri. George,Field Officer , the Area Office of Indane at Kozhikode. haven’t got any help from this field officer also even after several requests. I have also made complaint in the petroleum ministry toll free complaint (telephone no 1800255533) for which this agency has given the reason as “Software Complaint “ . It is absolutely false and base less reason. Nobody can believe that, the software of a company is remain complaint for more than two months. The reason said by the agency is contradictory to what the toll free complaint gave me. Now, the my request for name change is nearing TWO MONTHS. But all the efforts are in vein and I am still helpless in this. The atrocity of M/s Sathayam Indane agency is still continuing. With much difficulty and grief, I request you to kindly do any help to me for getting the name change effected or direct me what I have to do on this matter.
