Subject: Regarding methodology of Recruitment of Officers and Clerks to be conducted by the IBPS. Dear Sir, I have been informed that the proposed scheme of IBPS regarding revised process for recruitment of clerical and officer cadre for PSBs has been examined in this Department. It has been decided to broadly agree with the proposed scheme of IBPS and further, convey as under : i. IBPS and PSBs would ensure common eligibility criteria for all PSBs for subsequent examinations of Clerks and Officers as follows: Age: 20-28 years (for both officer and clerical cadre) Educational Graduation or equivalent for clerical cadre Qualification: Graduation or equivalent with 60% marks for Officers If this information is correct then i humbly request you to take back criteria of 60% marks in graduation for officers cadre otherwise my aspiration to join PSB as an officer would turn as a dream only. Sir, I belong to general category and have completed my Graduation in 2006 and scored 59.6% and after that finished my post graduation in management in 2009 since then i was working with private companies and in October 2012 i left my job in aspiration to prepare for PSB to become an officer, but if this criteria of 60 % marks in graduation will be implemented then my all efforts to join PSB as an officer will go in vain. Sir, I left my job to move forward but now I feel my career is in dark as i cannot apply for officer if 60 % in graduation will become an eligibility for said post. I therefore, request you to please give me a chance to achieve my dreams. thanking you Sincerely yours Kunal Krishna
