I have booked 3 tier AC tickets to travel from Whitefield to Aluva on 12/07/2013. The waiting list ticket was not confirmed and I couldn’t travel. Now railway is denying refund on my ticket citing a new rule that I have to make the claim within 2 hours from the scheduled departure. It is really impossible as I was travelling at the same time through alternate means. Why is this descrimination done to passengers who have taken ticket from the counter while the online customers are given refund without any troubles.
