We bought an Indica VIsta in 2009 from B U Bhandari. As they got disassociated with TATA I was compelled to give my car for servicing to Pandit Auto, Pimpri. Right from the beginning none of our complaints have been solved during the Warranty period. Now after the extended warranty has expired Pandit Auto, Pimpri has started highlighting failures in major parts of the car.
The car breaks down in bumper to bumper traffic. It also breaks down when the AC is on and its put in motion from a standstill. third scenario is when the steering is fully turned and the car is in slow speeds when it breaks down. Once the Car shut its engine on the ghat section. On my right hand side was a steep valley. In modern cars the steering wheel and breaks get locked if the engine is shut off. It is by God’s grace that I could avoid the accident. We have been highlighting the issues for past 2 years but no firm solution has been given to us by Pandit Auto. Instead every time they take the car for a test drive and empty the fuel tank.
Firstly I want the car stalling problem to be completely solved by Tata Motors. Pandit Auto guys have failed to do so in past 2 years. I want a company level intervention from Tata Motors. If thats not possible I want the car replaced. Apart from that I want to be compensated for fuel and my time that was wasted in test drives and taking the car up down to the service center.
