I placed an order for a book in Infibeam on 3 July 2013, Order number 11066455. Was delivered to me on July 15. The item which I received was an old book with dirty pages and worn out outer cover. I reported the same to Infibeam(after calling them and complaining them more than 5 times) on which they arranged for reverse pick up. After they receiving the book I continuously kept calling them but they are not refunding my money. I have sent mail also regarding this no reply from their part.
The money (323) was payed online on july 3 itself and credited in their account. Each time I call them I have to hold the line for more than 10 minutes to be able to speak to a customer care executive. I am a research scholar I was in need of this book badly, as the money got held up with them I am not able to buy book from other places also. This has affected my research. They asked me to send the pictures of the damages in the book prior to their reverse pickup. For which I had to rent a high resolution camera which too has led to unnecessary expenditure
I want the cost of book returned to me with 15% interest from july 3rd till the date I get the money back. I want them to pay a compensation of rupee 500 for the mantal agony caused and towards my call charges and the time I had to spend writing long mails to them. I also want them to pay 300 Rupee for renting the camera. I have proofs of all the mails send to them and the photo of the book.
