This is Nitin Jain, my mother was hospitalized for Angiography and angioplasty in Jehangir Hospital,Pune from Dec 9 -12, 2011. We have a corporate Insurance from Oriental thru Paramount TPA because my brohter was part of Persistent company. As Angioplasty is a costlier procedure, my bill comes out to be 2 Lakh. Insurance Policy approved the Initial 8000 on 9 Dec, then deny on 10 dec , on submitting the relevant document they approved 1.5 Lakh on 10 Dec. Now I have a discharged on 11 Dec, being Sunday the holiday, I need to wait for Monday, to my shock they again deny the claim on Monday. Leaving me to pay the calim from my pocket. This is very painful to see that they once approved, then denied then approved and then again denied and eventually I have to pay from my pocket and instead of getting discharged on sunday , get the discharged on Monday.

Please do the needful so these companies will never play with the patients for whom they have to pay the big amount while reimbursement.
