Regarding Electricity in Sleeper coach (S-7)of Premium train from GKP to ANVT (02527) I am S S Pandey and i had booked ticket from irctc in sleeper class in Premium Train (From GKP to ANVT 02527) and the fare was charged Rs 1152.48 and berth allotted to me was RAC in S-7, 55. The train started from Gorakhpur from half an hour delay from its scheduled time and when it reached near by Basti the electricity of S7 coach had gone. We had waited for some time but there were no electricity then we went to respected TTE and he assured us that electricity will come in GONDA. We have waited but no solution in GONDA again we told to TTE and again he told us that electricity problem will be solved in LUCKNOW. This phenomenon was continued till Moradabad and when at 9:05 am train reached Moradabad then electricity problem was solved. From Basti (near to Basti 09:25) to Moradabad (9:05 am) total 11 hours 40 minutes we have travelled without electricity (Light and Fan) and the condition was serious and most of the people were not able to sleep or sit.There were no security in the train. I was not feeling well because same day (10-06-14 from New Delhi to Gorakhpur via Vaishali 12554 i had reached Gorakhpur on 11-06-14 at 9:26 am and return journey on 11-6-14 from Gorakhpur to ANVT from Premium train due to imp appointments with customers and for Company work). I was expecting that the premium train will give me rest for night and next morning will be pleasant but it was opposite and most harassing condition of my life. I was carrying important documents with me with my travelling bag and while we were going to TTE in the night time for requesting, somebody has stolen my bag. Due to electricity i was not able to sleep full night and my mobile phone became switched off and i was not able to contact my customers and my company people to. This condition of electricity has given me a lot of pain and mental harassment. For all above things i request rail administration to take strict action on responsible fellow so that this phenomenon will not be repeated. I am claiming Ten Lakh (Rs1000000) rupees in respect of mental harassment and loss during my journey. The statement given by TTE and statement signed by passengers of S7 is attached.
