I booked my tickets in tatkal from Delhi to Lucknow in Lucknow Mail and paid Rs 4282.7 from my SBI account (transaction no. IGX1079071 AT 11.20 am). The passenger traveling were my family member 2 Adults and 2 Children. Around 6.30 pm, i got to know that only one passenger has been confirmed and 3 were on wait list. Unaware aware about what to do I called uo their customer care no. 011-233400XXX and spoke to the executive Ashvani who informed me about the possibility that only one passenger could travel under these circumstances and the best option would be to file a TDR. My concern about the refund amount was raised so i asked about the same, I was informed that the refund of 3 tickets would be made and regarding one confirmed passenger may be half amount is paid, whereas my intentions were very much to travel and it was not possible to travel leaving 3 members behind. Hence their was so much of tension as to what option should i take and the traveling to lucknow was also important. I would like IRCTC to refund my entire amount as there was no possibility for travel under these circumstances and the option i am left is to travel by road.
I would like to claim all the monetary losses i suffered and the cost/expenses I have to bear as a necessity to travel to lucknow.
