. RETENTION OF BBA RESULT/STATEMENT OF MARKS A. OCTOBER 1999 EXAMINATIONS-RESULT/STATEMENT OF MARKS WITHHELD SUBJECTS APPEARED (PXC, PXE, PXF, PXN, AND JXB) In contravention of the university regulations, inadvertently I had appeared for the second year subjects in October 1999 and third year subjects in May 2000 Examinations in lieu of May 2000 and May 2001 Examinations. Consequently, the result/statement of marks pertain to second and third year subjects has been withheld, since the publication of results in August 2000. My candidature has been formally registered for BBA October 1999 and May 2000 examinations and I had appeared for the subjects registered for the examinations. Irrationally, despite the completion of course of study (1998-2001) the result/statement of marks has been withheld. B. MAY 2000 EXAMINATIONS-DISCREPANCIES IN STATEMENT OF MARKS SUBJECTS APPEARED (PXG, PXH, PXJ, PXK, AND UXA) The result/statement of marks pertain to subjects 1. PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT AND INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS (PXG) ABSENT 2. BUSINESS LAW (PXK) ABSENT 3. MARKETING RESEARCH (UXA) ABSENT was found discrepant and declared as ‘ABSENT’.

DERELICTION COUPLED WITH DELINQUENCY The information with regard to retention of result/statement of marks was notified in June 2010, consequent to the intervention of Governor’s Secretariat, CM’s Special Cell and Vice-Chancellor. Evidently, the retention of result/statement of marks over a decade and unjustifiable inordinate delay in redress of grievance arising from dereliction coupled with delinquency on part of the university administration, has virtually ruined my career. The Petitioner sustained grave injustice and undue grief as a consequence of maladministration. The maladministration, a purported action where there has been wilful negligence in discharge of functions by a public servant. 3. PENDENCY OF THE GRIEVANCE BUREAUCRATIC HASSLE Delinquent officials: Registrar and Controller of Examinations, University of Madras. Long and difficult dealings with officials. The grievance remains unresolved, despite persistent and relentless struggle since January 2000.
