I like to inform you that on 14.06.13, I had reserved 9 (NINE) tickets from JBG Tours & Travels, G-7, Palika Place, Panchkuin Road, R K Ashram, Metro Station, New Delhi-110001 towards Volvo bus seats from Haridwar to Delhi on 19.06.13 at 12.30 pm service vide receipt no. 413, dated: 14.06.13. Accordingly, I made my journey/tour schedule for Rishikesh & Haridwar from 16 to 18 June 2013. Due to heavy rainfall and flood alert in Uttaranchal we had to leave Rishikesh on 17.06.13 morning for Haridwar. I called the JBG Tours & Travels to shift our tickets for 18.06.13 bus service, but they denied to do any changes and told that we would not get any refund against our bookings. On 18.06.13 evening, when I called JBG Tours & Travels for confirmation of their afternoon services of 19.06.13, they repeatedly confirmed that our 9 seats were reserved in their Volvo services and gave their local agent no. one Mr. Uttam (cell-07830950949), who also confirmed our bookings and told to report/wait at the Gurudwara bus parking, near Railway-pool (Haridwar) at 11.30 on 19.06.13. Yesterday, 19.06.13 from 12 O’clock, we ranged all the nos of Delhi & Mr. Uttam to give us the bus number for Delhi, but nobody confirmed the same, but only gave a phone number of one Mr. HariOm. We called him for several times and lastly around 12.45 pm he confirmed that he would reach the pickup point within short while. Around 1.10 pm Mr. HariOm reached there with an ordinary bus and asked us to board the bus. When we showed him our ticket for Volvo Bus booking, he told that he had no information about our bookings. When they could not take decision, the bus left for Delhi without us. Again when we called JBG Tours & Travels for our bus confirmation they told that we had to travel at our own arrangements and they had nothing to do. I along with my mother (65 years) and other 7 family members (includes 5 ladies) returned back to Delhi by an ordinary bus of UPSTC in the late night yesterday (19.06.13).

Economic Loss : Staying (lodging + Fooding)at Haridwar for 1 Day extra in tensed condition + Loss of Volvo Booking Amount (rs 5850)+ Physical harassment for 5 hours + Bus fare for UPRSTC.
