Jio Service Center – Grievance Not Addressed

Sir,

I am an existing customer of JIO. I do not have any grievance from my side, so far as JIO telephone/net service is concern. However this mail is to attract you attention towards ill behavior of your service center personnel.

I am using my phone since last couple of years and very satisfied with connection speed etc. Hence I convince one of my well-wisher, who is a retired person to get a JIO phone. He was absolutely against any smart phone. But on my repeated recommendation he exchanged a ‘Samsung’ ‘qwerty key’ phone to get a JOI phone. But unfortunately the phone started malfunctioning within a couple of months.

I myself visited one of your service centers along with him, to get the phone rectified. We encountered following unexpected events.

We had to wait more than 35 min only to talk to the technical person to report the problem.

After talking to him, He said We need to hand over the set and take it back after 1 Hr. As we had other important jobs to do, we requested him to keep the handset and we shall collect the set next day. He denied to keep the set and said we do not have facility for such service. Do you think that it is OK?? Do you think people have hours of time to spend just to get a phone serviced.

During our wait time another incident disturbed be a lot. Another old man who was having some software related problem with his phone was repeatedly requesting to your service personal to help him to install some of the apps which he said was there but suddenly disappeared from his phone. But he was very rudely denied by your service person stating that, ‘Installing App is none of my job, Do it yourself’.

I think your employees need some PR training. They should be more polite and helpful to the customers, especially to the elderly people. There were about ten such elderly persons waiting in the lobby and every one was discussing about some or other such non-cooperation by your employees.

Here my concern is that, I spoke very high about JIO to the person to convince him to get a JIO phone. Now, obviously he is blaming me for being so poorly treated in the service center. I doubt whether I shall ever recommend JIO to any other person in future.

I do not have confidence that you are going to do much about it. However I am providing the detail of the grieved person here under to your reference.
