We purchased a Lenovo Computer on 5th May 2014, on the 1st of june we were travelling out of country and the machine was not being used. The machine was used for about 15 days. Sometime in June after coming back to my office the machine was not working and in June 2014 we lodged a complaint with Lenovo and the issue still persists and they are unable to resolve the problem. The Hard drive & the mother board have both been changed, the Operating System (OS) has been installed/re installed 25-30 times and the machine does not work. They refuse to change the machine and keep asking us to send a technician to re install the OS. We are each time told that after this re install of the OS the machine will work but it doesn’t. They re installed it after the motherboard was changed and it still doesn’t work. They are again and again saying that they want to re install it one more time. They refuse to acknowledge that the computer is defective and refuse to change it.
We want our defective machine to be replaced with a new machine of the same model & configuration covered with full product and service warranty from the date of delivery of the new machine. Compensate Monetary loss of business – 5 times the cost of the machine of Rs78000/- that is Rs 3,90,000/- Compensation for Mental harassment and waste time money and effort and of 30 days of employee at office overseeing the re installations of the OS 25-30 times – Rs5,00,000/
