Dear Sir/ Ma’am, I have purchased Lenovo Z580 laptop on 20th April, 2013. After 2 months of purchase, my system was having problem of windows start up that it was taking 30 minutes/ 1 hour and sometimes more than that. So I have registered my complaint on 9th July 2013(S.O. Number: 7005384160) at Mumbai location to solve windows start up issue. After that I had started calling service station (on number 022 – 67247242 ) and on-line consumer support to come at my place at borivali Mumbai (I am having on site warranty on my laptop). They were always saying our representative will come today/ tomorrow/ after two days and all that. But no one came at all. After trying to call for almost 2 weeks I went at service station on 20th July at Kurla Mumbai. There at service station they tried system recovery but not succeed and tried a hard disk test. They found that my laptop’s hard disk was crashed. Where I got a new S.O. number (7005420182) to track the progress of my new hard disk replacement. Service centre representatives told me that it will take 3 days for hard disk arrival normally. I have again called on-line customer care on Monday Nd22 July. But they don’t know if part is available or not and whether it has been dispatched or not. Then again I called on 25th July twice. I again called and they told me part is not available and it will come by 15th of August (almost 1 month). By saying this I just want to say that I have purchased the Lenovo laptop because of its brand name and paid 45000 rupees for a good service. But I was forced to visit service station even I am having on site warranty. My Hard disk has been replaced on 14Th August but then didn’t have recovery disk for windows 8 for my model. I am still struggling with this issue.
My whole work is dependent upon my laptop. I have requested them for many times. If they are will not able to install windows 8 on my laptop then I want to return their product back to them and I want my 45000 RS. back. Because in this last 6 months there is not a single day when I have not called and requested them to provide me service.
