I bought Lenovo flex 2-14 on 20th/july/2014 with the defects explained above.
Issue with the laptop was put into the knowledge of lenovo on 4th /Aug/2014. I reported that on lenovo’s customer care number. There I was directed to visit Lenovo’s service center(Janakpuri, Delhi) named sysnet. I visited the service centre but got a very weird response from the engineer who wasn’t able to even identify the laptop model. · Again I called Lenovo’s customer care number where I requested for an on-site visit to my place. Lenovo’s executive told to me that an engineer will visit me in 48hrs(Max). But nothing happened. · Meanwhile on 7th/Aug/2014, I travelled to Bareilly,UP. Therefore, I again visited Lenovo’s service centre in Bareilly, where again the engineer was unable to identify the laptop. · So I asked the engineer to make another request on customer care number with a service centre code. On the call, he requested for an new LCD display. I was told that engineer will visit my place in three to four days. · I waited for approx. 10days and then called Lenovo’s customer care to enquire about the progress, but got no clear reponse. While continuously devoting my time to this issue and calling frequently on customer care number, I came to know that LCD will be shipped on 26th/Aug/2014. · Lenovo’s engineer visited my place on 27th/Aug/2014 with LCD display. While replacing my laptop’s lcd, he damaged my orginal LCD display and later on he found out that the LCD he brought is also damaged. So what I was left with a broken LCD display and the fault still remained. · After that I mailed Lenovo’s seniors about the issue and a female executive named Nazma called me to resolve the issue. I wanted a replacement or refund for the laptop, which on a lots of discussion ended up at a further detailed diagnosis of my laptop.
Then two engineers from lenovo’s service centre , Bareilly visited my place for a detailed diagnosis. They found that the issue is with recovery media rather than with LCD display. So I co-operated with Lenovo and agreed that if my laptop gets back to full working condition with the change of recovery media only, then Lenovo can change the recovery media and my broken LCD display. · Nazma promised to resolve the task in a week. But again nothing as promised happened. Solution to my issue got delayed with no follow up at all from lenovo’s side. · On 24th/Sept/2014, I was in Delhi, when lenovo’s engineer visited my place in Bareilly with recovery media and new LCD display. My laptop’s recovery media was changed but the new LCD display again found broken. So I was told on phone that laptop is working fine after changing recovery media but lcd issue still remains. · I again had a conversation after this with Nazma, where nazma promised me that my lcd will be changed atmost on 1st/oct/2014.
I want full money back with a compensation amount of 25,000INR which i spent on buying a new laptop.
