I have bought 42 inch LG plasma TV in Nov. 2012. It blast and burnt while running in Dec 2014 in front of my children.I lodged complaint on 8.01.2015 to LG customer care. Service engineer of LG stated that panel was burnt and need replacement. LG is demanding Rs. 18600/- to change the panel. After rigorous follow up they offered me 25% discount. I was ready to pay service charges but demanded free repairing of my TV since it is only two years old. But they did not agree. TV is not appearing in LG product list on their website. It indicates that LG has sold defected and outdated TV to me. I am mentally disturb due to this for last two months as I am a govt.officer posted at Sikkim. Please help. I have original bill and email conversation with LG customer and service managers regarding my complaint. Since I am at Sikkim I will produce bill later on, if required.
I want complete replacement of TV or repairing TV free of cost. Compensation also be paid for supplying defective material that compromised security of family members.
