I made a purchase from Home Centre, part of lifestyle for Rs. 44000+. Merchant executive Mr. Gunasekaran promised me a 5% cashback on Axis bank Credit card. After 2-3 days, I contacted the credit card team to verify, they said the offer period was only till Feb. 19th 2014. Upon contacting the merchant, he again promised me saying that the offer was extended till March and said he’s responsible to get the cash back. He sent me a mail that he had received from his senior executives and asked me to talk to the bank, which ideally he should have done. I’ve spent hours & hours speaking to Mr. Guna(Lifestyle Exec) and writing mails to Axis Bank to get my cash back but to no avail. Neither the Lifestyle executive nor the Axis Bank Credit card team seem to respond. Please help.
I want my Cash back which amounts to Rs. 2500/- and the phone charges approx. Rs 250/- Interest Charges at 24% for their dispute transaction at 24% for my credit card (Rs.44000 @ 24% – Rs. 11000/-. Totally – Rs. 13750/-
