Maharashtra Electricity – poor service no action for complaints

Previously complaint ComplaintId :57160/3/2013 was closed as credit was provided by Electricity board. Now the credit is being cancelled by Electricity board as adjustment hence it is still not closed. My grandmother lives alone in Ambasan Village near Nampur Nasik for indicated consumer number. While Most of times she is not at home,there are no heavy appliances. Load shading is well known in rural area. The meter bill is more than 500 Rs since last July-2012. Kindly note that all other full time heavy users in same village get bills less than 100 Rs. Written complaint was submitted at Nampur office but there was no action. I have verified all bills online and each bill got wrong/misleading previous and current meter reading.It seems that meter reading is never taken and only random number of units are charged. It is most unfortunate case that Electricity is disconnected if payment is not done. Several complaints were already raised but it was never actioned.

Monetary compensation and commitment to avoid it for future.
