I have booked a bus ticket through MakeMyTrip (India) Pvt. Ltd. website to travel in Rathimeena travels for Seat No. 19 at about 12 pm on 4th June 2013 . when I process the payment it was completed but there was some error on confirmation of the bus seat and ticket, therefore I have booked again the bus ticket through same Make My Trip ( India) Pvt Ltd in Rathimeena travels seat No. 23 and payment process was completed and I have received the ticket. When I verify my bank statement I came to understand that Rs. 730 Debited two times. I called customer care number 18001038765 and also reported this incident. I request with customer care executive to kindly look into this matter and return my excess payment Rs. 730 to my account number. I also sent detailed mail to their mail id Busservice@makemytrip.com on same date 4/6/2013 at 1.07 pm as follows. “Passenger Name : Manthira moorthi Advocate PNR No. RMT3353167 Seat No. 23 Place of travel ; Chennai to Nellai Time : 6 pm Date : 4/6/2013 Place of boarding : Peerkankaranai this booking But booking for seat no. 19 is concerned I once again request you to kindly return the payment of Rs. 730 for the payment made to the ticket no. 19 Fund transfer from Indian Overseas Bank AC No. 145201000008159 , Irrungattukottai branch Account holder name G. SANTHIVINAYAGAM” Make My Trip ltd gave an auto response with a reference ID 130604-024413. Thereafter I received a mail from Make My Trip company executive Mr. Naveen Thapliyal on 5th June to sent a bank statement copy in PDF format. I sent my accounts statement in print screen format but again he mailed to send it by PDF Format then I sent my account statement by PDF format on 10/6/2013 at 1.45 pm but there after no reply or response from Make My Trip Company.
I call their customer care number 1800-103-8765. more than thrice but each time they assured that with in 72 hours it would be credited. Even today when I call the customer care center the same reply I got. I asked is it final can I get my money he further told he is not sure. I sent several reminder mails but no proper response or reply from Make My Trip ( India) Pvt Ltd., I felt more mental agony due to Make My Trip company attitude and unresponsive behavior. It is highly unethical and unfair on their part. I have no alternative remedy except approaching your good self. I therefore kindly request your honor to take this complaint on file and thus render justice.
I want appropriate action against Make My Trip ( India ) Private Limited for unfair trade practice and punish them with maximum fine and direct them to pay any charity or free legal air services . Return my excess payment with interest and thus render justice.
