The booking was done and confirmation was received for December 24th to December 26th, 2013 at Honeymoon Inn, Shimla and the payment was also made. My trip was a honeymoon trip that was supposed to start on 24th at Shimla followed by Manali on 26th for which the hotel booking was again done with you. The booking was reconfirmed on 22nd of December with Ms. Pinky Kumari at Make my trip. On reaching Chandigarh on 24th of December, when I made a confirmation call to the hotel which though as per the voucher I was not required to, I was said that there is no booking in my name. I was completely surprised by this. My entire trip was troubled with this. I had to stay at Chandigarh as I had no hotel confirmation on 24th December. On 25th December, 2013 on following up with the Makemytrip customer care I was said that MakemyTrip did not confirm my booking to the hotel because of which this problem happened.

The total payment made for the above hotel was Rs. 13000/- which went completely waste. However the monetary loss was very small compared to the loss of my Honeymoon Tour. I want an appropriate compensation along with the refund of the above amount. I have been asked to take a refund of Rs. 6000/- for one night stay loss. But I dont think that is enough compensation.
