I booked a honeymoon package worth 2,15,500 for Kuramathi resort in Maldives from maldivestourister.com ( A unit of Antilog Vacations). The package included resort stay (3 nights Beach Villa+1 night water villa) + All meals + return flights from Delhi. I was promised that hotel vouchers will be provided within 2-3 days of full package payment . Even after paying full money and waiting for over 10 days , i did not receive resort vouchers from the company. They kept delaying it due to one reason or other. I had to follow up multiple times with the agent named Manisha Kanwar. When my written email started getting unanswered, i had to call her everyday and pursue my case verbally. Finally , I was told at the last moment that the resort is full and therefore it can not offer us accommodation. I was surprised to hear this because at no point i was made aware of this fact when i was vehemently trying to get vouchers from the company. The agent kept me in the dark till the last moment. And By this time cost of all resorts in maldives has already shot up. I fear that it was their well planned strategy to lock my payment and keep me in the dark till the last moment. By this time i was mentally exhausted by following up with the agency. On Protesting, The agent (Manisha Kanwar) accepted for her mistake and asked me to choose another package for the resort named Velassuru. The package cost for this resort was 2,03,500.This package included 3 nights stay in Deluxe bungalow and 1 night stay in water villa + only breakfast + return flights. I was promised following complimentary activities along with the package : Candle light DInner, fruit basket & Wine bottle , Male city tour , couple SPA, Room Decoration. The agent also promised that the balance 12,000 rupees will be refunded to me ASAP. Since it was too late for me to go with another agency , and I could see my Honeymoon plans getting spoiled by these unscrupulous/unprofessional people. Therefore i had to accept this new package half heatedly and without any price negotiations. I had to convince my fiancee to go to another resort , when we had already planned everything according to our original resort (Kuramathi). I looked like a fool in front of my fiancee because of no fault of mine. To my dismay, My agony did not ended here. When i mailed the new resort (velasurru) for room confirmation , I was told that the agency has booked water bungalow and not water villa for me. This room was cheaper and inferior to the water villa. This was sheer fraud on the part of agency as i had paid for water villa and not water bungalow. Moreover resort said that they wont be offering me all the promised complimentary acitivities i.e. SPA, city tour and room decoration. I had to unnecessary followup again with the agency during my honeymoon period. All this cause mental harassment and economic losses to me. The agency spoiled everything which i planned for our Honeymoon, which is supposed to

would like to be compensated for the mental agony i had to undergo. The agency have not even refunded me the balance amount of Rs 12000 despite my several reminders. Plus I would like suitable disciplinary action to be taken against the defaulting agents who spoiled my honeymoon experience, which is a once in a lifetime experience.
