I have purchased Micromax Canvas 2 A110 online in Nov. 2012. On 8 Oct, 2013 I faced problem of touch screen not working. Hence, I sent mobile for repairing as it is under warranty to nearest service center – M/S Shree System – Shah Commercial Center, Station Road, Bhuj (Kachchh) – 370001 But Micromax refused repairing under warranty saying that problem is caused due to water damage. And demanded a sum of Rs.1800 for repairing the mobile phone. I strongly confirm the fact that my A110 has never been exposed to water. I tried to convince them but they were adamant. They were not even ready to give job sheet. But after persuasion they gave jobsheet no. W010343-1013-5957523 on 18th October with estimate of Rs. 1794 saying water damage is not covered under warranty. I have contacted Micromax on 12th October 2013, their FB page, via email and via phone. There was no response via phone. On email and FB they responded on 15th October that some one will contact me shortly. In spite of repeated emails, they have not contacted me as on date 23rd October, 2013.
Repair the phone free of cost by replacing panel or whatever is necessary.
