I purchased a mobile handset (model-micromax modu-T) on April 18 2013 & it started giving trouble such as automatic reset, touch screen not responding etc. from first month. Within warranty period, I gave my handset for repair at their service centre (Satguru Communication, Noida). I got Job sheet no- “N040439-1013-5774954”. I was told there that you can collect the handset in fully working condition within 10 working days. After 10 days, I kept visiting service center & they kept giving excuse that handset is not ready & come back after 7 days. After a month, I wrote to customer relation office of micromax & they gave me a complaint ID – 2410138861 After 15 days, they sent me an email informing that case is closed at their end & I should visit service center which i did immediately. Service center informed me that my this particular handset can’t be repaired so company may provide replacement handset but different model (Micromax A-27) which is having far less features than my old handset. I again wrote back about this issue & from then they stopped replying in any meaningful manner.
They should provide a new handset with same model. If they are not able to provide same model (As company claimed that this model is discontinued) I’m ready to accept any other model but must have same features. I checked on their website & there are many other handsets which are having same essential features. Two main features of my mobile handset was a) 3G b) 5MP camera) They must provide a new handset of 3G & 5 Mega Pixel camera & as well as compensate me for economical hardship faced by me in pursuing this case for more than 3 months.
