I bought a Micromax Tablet P362 on 1st May 2013 from The Mobile Store City Point, Holding 154, Ward-23, NS Dutta Road, Howrah – 711101 West Bengal From Day 1 found the battery lasts only 2 and half hours after full charge.Gradually the battery worsened and now it lasts less than a hour.I went to The Mobile Store and said about the condition of the battery,they advised that when you use the Tablet keep it connected to the power socket.Shocked,I retreated because the purpose of the Tablet is mobile computing.But if it requires constant charging what the use of it.Frustrated I rarely use it.Then a month ago found a new problem,the charging was not occurring properly.As the use was limited so there is no question of any physical damage to any of its parts,but to my utter dismay when I visited the service centre on 24th December 2013 the Service personnel said that you have broken the part to which the charger connect. The Service Center details are as follows: M/S R K SERVICES 223/3, MAHENDRA BHATTACHARYA ROAD, HOWRAH – 711104 The job sheet number is E030523-1213-7140849. I had used the Tablet with care unlike my mobile which has fallen from my hand several times.I felt astounded about the make of the tablet whose parts break up on such careful and limited use.Now I have to shell out money to get it repaired even if it is not my fault.I could not use the tablet frequently because of its horrible battery life.Never ever even fell from my hand and parts broke off.I asked the service personnel about replacement battery.He said is not available will be replaced once available which may be more than fortnight.In the service centre heard tales of horror from several people.I think to describe a Mircomax product as horrendous is an understatement.
