I have purchased a 400ml pet bottle of Minute maid from the above Dealer address for which the MRP printed is Rs. 25/-. My kid immediately opened and drank it and he gave a bill for Rs. 35/- with MRP as 29 and 19.45% tax totalling Rs 34.64 and rounded off to Rs 35/-. Since I had doubt I just checked it and immediately brought to the shop owners notice. It was explained to me that it is because of tax and I argued that it is the maximum retail price which includes all taxes that can be levied by government and he didn’t agree to it. He was mocking at me and my co brother and challenged me to complain anywhere we want.

The court may take necessary steps to make sure that the shop owner is fined for not obeying rules and he is made to follow rules in future so that no one else will have the experience as mine. I feel I should get an appropriate compensation as well.
