MTNL Broadband – Poor Internet Speed No support

I am using MTNL Broadband (“FREEDOM-795” plan) which should ideally give me 2 Mbps speed. Instead the connection is less than 512 Kbps and intermittent most of the times. I have contacted the customer support numerous times (and at least 10 times in last 2 weeks) but every time I am told that this “would be fixed by end of day”.

Consequently, I am not able to use the services most of the time when I am paying in full without any dues. This is absolutely unfair on their part to keep procrastinating and not resolve the problem. My work is mostly internet based and I have realized several monetary losses due to this.
