I bought a new connection of ‘MTS Blaze‘ WiFi on Thursday 17 July 2014; as I recently moved to Dehradun I provided my resident proof for the city (affidavit) plus house owner’s Voter ID card (owner also happens to me my paternal uncle), PAN card copy plus my permanent address proof (bank statement). After positive verification on Friday, 18 July I was told that it will be activated by Saturday 19 July; however after many phone calls to the dealer (Raghav Chhabra) it wasn’t activated. On Monday 21 July I was told by the dealer that as my bank statement is of private bank I cannot get a connection! where as no other service provider has declined these documents to provide connections so far in Dehradun. On Tuesday my husband provided all his documents – copy of passport, govt bank passbook copy for address proof and his photographs to get connection activated; however again after positive verification the connection hasn’t been activated till writing of this complaint. It seems that the dealer is himself not aware of the procedure and the documents required to get a connection with MTS; when asked for a list which gives details of documents required for connection was told that they do not have that list.
I would like this connection to be activated ASAP; if there is still problem in accepting our documents would look for a return of my money which I spent on buying the connection.
