Nokia Lumia 520 – Then I found the problem with 3G access with the set

I purchased one Nokia Lumia 520 smart phone from a local authorized Nokia Mobile Store on 14.08.2013.For two months I used it successfully with Reliance 3G services.Then I found the problem with 3G access with the set and approached to Tezpur authorised Nokia Care ( M/s Bharti Telecom). They checked it and advised me to approach to the 3G service provider Reliance. Reliance checked their services and informed me with demonstration that the problem is not with Reliance, but rather with the mobile set. Then I again proceed to Nokia care. They updated the software in the set and returned me. Told me that the set is now OK but Reliance 3G signals is temporarily not available right that time to test the set and convinced me to receive the set in that condition. Also they told me to replace the sim card with a new one because old sim cards are not good for 3G access.I waited 1 day. Next day I contacted Reliance also if there is any temporary 3G network failure (but no such failure was there). I replaced the sim card with a new one as per their advice, but still the problem is not rectified. Then I personally checked the sim card in another mobile set where it was working fine in 3G mode.That means the sim card & 3G service was OK, but the mobile set is faulty. I was misguided by Nokia care in both times for about a month’s harassment. In both the cases they have not raised the Service Job Sheet and tried to avoid my problem. I then demanded to deposited the mobile to Nokia Care on 11.11.2013 and then the Job sheet was raised. They asked for one week to re pare it. After one week the problem is not solved. They told that the set is not repairable and they will send the set for warranty replacement in their company H.Q. at Delhi and may take for 15-20 days. I agreed that also.But after 20-22 days they are unable to give me set.I then contacted their call centre, but strange!! they told that the they have not received the set at Delhi. I informed my Local Nokia Care but they were quite!! Again after 15 days I inquired at Nokia Care where I was informed that the set is delivered from Delhi on 13.12.2013 will reach me in another 3-4 working days.But till 10 days it was not received.On continuous follow ups with them, their call centres,even the courier company through which the set might have come from Delhi via Guwahati to Tezpur, I finally received it on 06.1.2014.But, the original set (without replacement i.e. with same serial number (IMIE no.)is returned to me without solving the problem. Even after two months of total harassment I was unable have proper warranty services from a Multinational Company like Nokia who have Millions & Billions of business in India.This is not what could be expected by a consumer from a company like Nokia.Its a fraud.I did not accepted the set and approached to you to register my Complain against the Services of Nokia so that my consumer rights are conserved.

Due to violation of my Consumer rights Nokia must 1.Provide a new, fault free set immediately with full warranty (may be less than 1 month from full warranty). 2.Must reimburse my post paid 3G bills. 3.Must pay a penalty of not less than Rs.2 Lakh.
