Its really sad that in a fastest growing country India people work like this.
My complaint is related to the non receipt of my car policy from The Oriental Insurance Company limited, Delhi
I have renewed my vehicle policy from The Oriental Insurance Company limited on 10/4/2010 and in this regard I have given the cheque no – 742591 (HDFC Bank) of Rs 6672/- dated 10/4/10 which is credited from my account.
I got this insurance done by the Divisional Officer Salokam Singh (Ph-9873422900). No wthis dev. officer told me that the policy will reach you within 2 weeks. By that time you can use this cover note. Now its been more than 2 months i have not recieved my car policy.
Whenever i try calling him either did not pick the phone or he will say i am sending your policy just now.

I urge you to take a strong action against this gentleman. People like this are putting companies like Oriental Insurance and ultimately IRDA in trouble.
