Non Servicing of Chimney

I have a Faber Chimney(Mars 90 cm) in the name of my wife SANGEETA CHAKRABARTI which has been regularly under servicing contract for the last couple of years with the Company.The last contract period was 24.01.2012 to 23.01.2013 under D1C4 Package for four mandatory service during the period. The service I got during the period are as follows-: Ist service — 27.07 2012 (after 6 months) IInd service– 19.11.2012 (after about 4 months) IIIrd service–27.02.2013(after more than 3months) IVth service — 10.07.2013(after about 5 months) All the above services I got after lodging the complaint.The matter was brought to the notice of the company by Email on 23.02.13 & 28.12.13 along with scanned document.The same irregular service was rendered in the previous contract period also Now on 28.12.13 the authorised servicing agent of the Company in Calcutta charged me Rs 500/= for attending a call of Motor noise. The servicing contract was renewed on the same day for a period of another year.Within couple of hours of the service due to recurrence of the same problem a complaint was lodged to the Company by Email on the same day i.e 28.12.13 along with a complaint for the service charge of Rs 500/= taken from me.Telephonic complaint was registered on the problem 29.12.13. Till 15.01.14 the call had not been attended by anyone.On perusing the matter on 15.01.14 the service provider/company responded but not been allowed by me to attend the call for their wilfull,deliberate and recurring negligence till finalisation of a remedy to their attitude. Due to irregular cleaning /maintenance ,pressure created on the motor and some problem aroused for which the company is liable and not me,who has to pay the charge.The Area/Regional manager of the company Mr Ganguli (Mob09836108xxx) who enquired into the matter on 16.01.13 seemed to be more interested in safeguarding the interest of his service provider rather than his customer.The company didn’t bother to attend a call of emergent nature within a fortnight which is not only ridiculous but also disgraceful for a company of such repute.

1)Refund of service charge of Rs500/= 2)Penalty Charge for their delayed service and thereby for the breach of contract. 3)A written assurance form the company for non-recurrence of delayed/irregular service.
