We purchased the Onida TV on 28th Aug,from ezone koramnagala. It is a SMart TV with the features to browse internet and youtube etc. However, neither of these features work and it is as good as a normal LED TV. Hence we wrote to the senior management at Onida on 10th sept after failed responses from the customer service centre.
we bought the TV during a sale period – hence missed on great offers by various TV companies. We paid a premium for the added facility of a smart TV. For over one month I’ve been following up with the company and this has caused me tremendous stress, as I am also in my final stages of pregnancy and find this extremely tiresome and stressful.
The company had offered to repair the brand new TV – which did not suit us – as we do want a defective TV set – we either want a brand new TV which is fully functional or a full refund of Rs. 48,611/- plus damages in terms of physical effort, transport and opportunity cost (of missing out sale offers of other TVs).
