sir, please find attched my earlier complaint which you closed based on total wrong and misleading information from one of the marketing executive stating that they dispatched the product and i mentioned in my complaint clearly i received a wrong product,i ordered a bluray dvd player and got philips speaker which is useless for me.they are acting smart and giving intelligent answers and are liable for strict action for unfair trade practices,they are a fraud online portal and cheating the consumers and misleading even the consumer forums also. kindly reopen my case and refund the amount with penalty by cancelling the order. my earlier complaint in pg portal Registration Number : DOCAF/E/2012/01900 Name Of Complainant : NOMULA SRINIVAS RAO Date of Receipt : 26 Nov 2012 Received by : Department of Consumer Affairs Forwarded to : Core Centre Contact Address : A-20-21, Institutional Area, NITS Sector 62, Noida 201307 Contact Number : 01204235448 Grievance Description : it is a classic case of online fraud by shopping portal noida based timtara.coming to the facts of the case i ordered a philips bluray dvd player model 2600/94 with order number 10338438 and paid 3840rs online payment on october 13th.AFTER much persuation and repeated reminder emails and phone calls which are not toll free i got the product which i never ordered and that is a wrong product and a philips speaker system which is much below value and importantly a wrong product.My intentions of celebrating diwali with bluray player was in red.the much repeated slogan of timtara of customer first became customer last.since i got the wrong product i made 12 emails to all the available email ids of timtara and spent around 500rs for around 25 calls each running into more than 10mts.ALL this efforts have not yielded any results and as the name suggest TIMTARA is showing stars to consumers.AND when i searched google about timtara it is flooded with complaints and the search results are in thousands which show some thing is totally wrong with this shopping portal.it is daylight robbery on the name of online shopping and i feel strongly that govt must curb and take severe action against this malpractice and save consumers and their hard earned money.it will get wrong name for the other genuiene shopping portals.with all my survey on TIMTARA which i unfortunately did after buying from them i can certainly say they are not adopting fair practices.Not a single email was replied for my 12 emails and not a single call was answered positively.it is routine answers and never the persons responsible were there to answer us.My request is not about my problem but please help other consumers who were trapped by TIMTARA.you can google timtara to verify facts about my complaint and take suitable and severe action.
