On 21.06.2013 I have ordered for VERSA STORAGE CABNET DNTVC1274 by making online payment of Rs.3,330/- including shipping charges. The expected date of delivery was 08.07.2013 and all of a sudden on 02.07.2013 a person from the company called and said it will take one more month to deliver. When I contacted their help line they informed that the product is out of stock. Online shopping companies normally does not take orders for out of stock items, when I posed this question they could not give me a convincing answer. Further they said either I can cancel my order and get refund or I can amend the order and buy something else. Which I strongly protested as I had booked an item which was available online and they are legally bound to supply the item. Then after many calls and emails Mr. Sonu Yadav, Customer support executive replied to my mail stating that they shall deliver the goods on or before 18.07.2013. Today (19.07.2013) when I called on them at the number provided by Mr. Sonu Yadav (02264640081) they said that concerned person is on leave and will be available only next week. They are simply dodging the issue and I overheard once while talking to them that the item is discontinued now. I am still wondering how a reputed company can take order for a discontinued / out of stock product.I am very sure that the company is not interested in resolving my issue.
The company should provide the furniture which I had ordered online. If they are not able to provide the same they need to compensate me for the mental torture which I had to undergo and they should at least supply alternative TV cabinet cost of which should be equivalent or more (without additional cost being charged to me).
