It is against the practice of selling fitness equipment that do not have Maximum Retail Price. All these equipment are imported from Taiwan and are sold pure based on the whims and fancies of the shops that come into some agreement among st themselves. Today I purchased Orbit rack cycle for 12500/- I had to believe what he says. He said it was 14000/- when I told him of my visit 2 months ago it was priced 12500/- he sold the same with the same price. Now I am clueless about the real price. There is big racket in this trade. As a consumer I must know the product’s MRP and shall have proper warranty from the company. the warranty is given by the shop for 6 months manufacturing defects and 3 years free service. Again this is arbitrarily done. There shall be some control on this trade if not it becomes a day light cheating.

I want the Govt to control this trade and bring in transparent pricing
