I bought, recently launched P51 Panasonic android phone, for my son’s birthday on 5th Jauary 2014. I bought it from Croma, DT Mega Mall so I went there on 13th January 2014) and explained that phone does not switched on inspite of keeping this on charge for 10 hrs. I was told that display is faulty so customer care directed me to Sukhrali repair centre. You must visit that centre , I am sure you will not dare to visit that repair center in wildest of your dreams that too after spending Rs.14000/ on a product which goes konk-off with one week. Just to escape a replacement, repair centre guy “Ajay” could muster all the smile in the world when he discovered a small scratch near sim insertion slot. It was a rude shock to me because it was so insignificant that while inserting sim for the first time by Croma staff even I also did not bothered much, quite frustratingly that mark was engraved because of poor phone design at Sim insertion slot so I can not blame Croma staff, who was responsible for inserting the Sim for the first time and only time, I put him into oblivion. But I could see the winning smile on Ajay’s face when he informed me that my hand set can not be replaced although he agreed that mark on phone has nothing to do with this defect but he still brazenly shown his incapacitation and reminded me company’s unfriendly policy. For no fault of mine, I have been the sufferer, in short scratch made by Croma staff while inserting SIM however it was insignificant but when display got faulty within 8 days, replacement is not being done on plea of that small scratch which has nothing to do display. Now Ajay is aking me to wait for 8-10 days to further investigate. It is injustice, I felt cheated that by Croma who sold me a defective phone and that too with un-noticeable scratch and making that as an excuse now for not been able to replace the defective set worth Rs. 14000/-. My complaint no. with Croma is SR15011400182 My case is logged with Sukhrali centre of Panasonic along with my phone with job ID. KJASPHR112114K2328.
