Panasonic Air Conditioner Problems – A Review

Dear Sir, With great dissatisfaction & frustration i the undersigned would like to state that I have purchase an AC machine (Model: Panasonic)[ Capacity: 1ton] on 24/05/14 from The Great Eastern, 16, GT Rd., Khadina More, Chinsura, [Model No.: Indoor – CS-UC12QKY2/CU-UC12QKY2/2014]. But, it is not still being installed. Although the booking had been made on 24/05/14, the personnel from Panasonic India contacted and came on 28/05/14. After finding that the AC machine outdoor unit to be installed in the first floor, then, due to unavailibility of ropes (which is their responsibility for making arrangement) the installation could not be effected. They further requested to arrange for bamboo bhara for lifting the AC machine to first floor on another date (without which the installation would not be possible). Time & again they were repeatedly told to affix the outdoor unit on the window shade where there is no obstruction & at the same time it is convenient also.

But, they showed reluctance to do so. Again on 03/06/14 when the bamboo arrangement was done at my own cost, after repeated & frantically calling the service personnel they reported late in the evening when there is poor vision at night for work to be completed & as usual kept the work incomplete. They only fixed the indoor unit. Again they were reminded for fixing the outdoor on the window shade which they did not pay heed to & outrightly negated our suggestions. On 04/06/14 when they have just completed the angle fixation on the wall for the outdoor unit below the window instead of above the window shade, objection was raised by the neighbour towards the installation of the unit there. Now, they informed that in case the angle & accessories were to be de-installed then the same has to be purchase again with separate cost. One of the personnel’s name is Mr. Ashraf Ali, for your information please. Questions which i require clear answers individually: 1. Whether AC machines elsewhere are not installed above the window shade? What is the Company protocol? 2. Why the service personnel are providing late service on one pretext or the other? 3. Whether the bamboo bhara is the responsibility of the house owner to provide for fitting in the first floor? 4. Inspite of repeated requests they did not pay heed to our requests to install the outdoor unit below window, now, while de-installing the wall fixings why the extra cost will be borne by us? OTHERWISE I WANT MY WHOLE MONEY BACK & I WILL OPT FOR SEPARATE BRAND. Require immediate help & intervention of the top management towards this insincere & chaotic situation. I WANT TO RETURN THE PRODUCT..PLEASE ARRANGE TO DO SO.
