Panasonic – Handy Cam not getting repaired from last 17 days

My Job no. is 316 – Davinder Singh This is to bring to your notice the real sorry state of Panasonic service centre(ASC Name New Tec Electronics – Chandigarh) where I have given my Handy CAM for repair. I was told an expense in between Rs.2000 to Rs.2500 for which I said ok and than I was confirmed that it will be done within 8 days which I felt was too long because just replacing a part should not taken even a day. To this I was told that part is not locally available and we will get it from company hence 8 days are needed. Post 8 days i kep following with the service centre and customer care executive Mohini but till date i have not got my Handy Cam back. Now i have got a call after 17 days that the part is not available hence i should collect my unrepared handy cam post payment of Rs.1000 as service charge. This is highly unethical because how can a company herself refuse to repair his own product and than al;so ask for money as well for not repairing it.I want company to get my handy cam repaired immediately else should provide me an alternate for the product.

I want company to get my handy cam repaired immediately because i am ready to pay the expense of the part which i was told by customer service executive to be approx. Rs.1500-2000 else company should provide me an alternate for the product at company cost.
