Pantel Penta Tablet – Defective Tablet poor service from centre

I purchased a Pantel Penta Tablet, Penta T Pad –IS709 bearing serial nos. 1303208015428 from M/s. Rapidex Net Solutions on 08-02-2013 for Rs. 3999/- vide Retail Invoice Nos. 193 dated 08-02-2013 (copy enclosed) . The dealer had told me that the tablet had a warranty of one (01) year from purchase. I registered the tablet on the manufacturer’s website for warranty as per the terms of the warranty and the registration number was PENTOFF0030579. The tablet developed problems in June 2013 and I had to write to the company for warranty repairs on 29-06-2013. As per the advice of the Customer Care I took the Tablet to M/s. Technol Services. They asked me to come after 15 days. When I went after 15 days M/s. Technol Services representative told me that due to unprecedented increase of the value of the US Dollar against the Indian rupee the company has delayed the import of parts and boards of the tablet and it may take another two weeks for the spares to arrive. Thereafter, I received a call from the company and I was told that the tablet would be replaced by a higher model at a nominal cost of Rs.200/. I agreed to it and they gave me a code. I went to M/s. Technol with the code, but they said that the company has discontinued the process of giving a higher model because other customers were unwilling to pay Rs.200/. So they gave me my tablet after repairing after almost two weeks. The tablet was returned almost after two months since it was given for repairs. Thereafter the tablet again developed problems. The screen used to hang every time an application was opened. Then the touch screen did not respond and finally the battery began to lose charge rapidly. I again took the tablet to M/s. Technol Services for repairs on 26-10-2013 vide service receipt number 845 dated 26-10-2013 (copy enclosed). They asked me to come after 06 weeks. That is the time I wrote to the company for refund of my money because of the frequent breakdowns and unprecedented repair time. I had purchased the tablet in February 2013 and by December 2013 the tablet was with the service center for more than 04 months. When I went to M/s. Technol Services after 06 weeks they said that the tablet is not repaired and the company will intimate me when it is ready. They gave me a Job sheet Number to be given to the manufacturer, M/s. Pantel. The Job sheet number is PENSR0089885. I wrote to the company, M/s. Pantel Technologies for refund of my money due to faulty product and delayed service, but they flatly refused to refund me my money.

I want the company to take the tablet back and re-imburse me the money I paid to buyit i.e. Rs.3999/.plus Rs.5000 as compensation for mental agony and harassment
