Pepperfry.com – Product not delivered

I am Yogesh Deshpande and I am writing this email to report a complaint against E-commerce site www.pepperfry.com. Please note that I did not find Pepperfry in the list of Brand in the complaint form, hence leaving it blank. I had ordered a Metal Shoe rack from this website on 12th December 2014 ( Order no.300705598). The product was supposed to be delivered to me by 24th December. But as on 02 Jan 2015, it is not yet delivered. I have been called and told by Pepperfry manager Sweta 3-4 times telling me some date and time of delivery. I called their Customer support many times and every time I got some excuse for late delivery. While I am writing this email, I am waiting for another call back from management team about the new date for delivery. Pepperfry team takes the customers for granted and gives false promises. At least 2 times I have taken leave from office and was waiting for the product at my home. I would like the Consumer Affairs team to take vigilance of this complaint and act against Pepperfry management for fooling and cheating people. I would also advise other consumers not to get associated with Pepperfry if they have such reputation. I hope this complaint will act as deterrent against shopping on non-reliable E-commerce websites. Thanks, Yogesh Deshpande

As it has been more of mental torture, but a equivalent relief I would like Pepperfry to compensate me is a relief package ten times the cost of the product I had ordered.
